ITINERARY

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Met Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport and transfer in to your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi – Srinagar
After breakfast at hotel, in time transfer to domestic terminal to board flight for Srinagar. Met upon arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your Deluxe Houseboat. After lunch on houseboat, proceed with an hours ride in the local Gondolas also known as “Shikaras” on The Dal Lake. Visit the floating markets, gardens and enjoy beautiful scenery of Dal Lake with mountains in the background.  
Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.

Day 03 : Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed with full day excursion tour of Gulmarg with packed lunch. (112 Kms/2 Hours drive) Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also   popular    for its   golf course   (in summer), the highest in the world   and   skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to Houseboat.  
Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.

Day 04 : Srinagar
After breakfast on houseboat, proceed with the sightseeing tour of the world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch.  Afternoon free for shopping & personal activities.  
Dinner and overnight  at Houseboat.

Day 05 : Srinagar – Delhi – Jaipur
After breakfast free for personal activities and transfer in time to the airport to connect flight for Delhi. Met upon arrival in Delhi and depart by surface for Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check-in at your Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 : Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel, proceed with visit of Amer Fort situated atop the Amber hill with photo stop en route of the famous Hawa Mahal. After lunch at Hotel, proceed with the sightseeing tour of city, visiting the City Palace, the principal residence of the ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. Part of it is now converted into a magnificent museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory raised in the 18th century. Time permitting visit cottage industry specializing in hand-woven carpets & textiles. Witness how silk carpets are handmade. Meals and overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Jaipur – Agra
After early breakfast at Hotel, depart by surface for Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at your Hotel. After lunch at hotel/restaurant proceed with the sightseeing tour of city, visiting Agra Fort built during the great Mughal era. Agra Fort built in 1569 on the banks of the Yamuna River. After this visit TAJ MAHAL, one of the 7-wonders of the world. Later visit a cottage industry to witness skilled craftsmen doing fine marble inlay work. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays). Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 08 : Agra – Delhi – Depart
After breakfast at hotel, depart by surface for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and proceed with lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed with the sightseeing tour of New Delhi, with drive past India Gate (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in the World War I) the Rastrapati Bhawan and the Parliament House and visit Qutab Minar. After dinner in time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.


Includes:

• Per person (US Dollars) twin sharing accommodation for 7 nights as per above inclusive of all applicable taxes.
• Set menu buffet meals as per above.
• Transportation using an aircon vehicle as per above, except in Srinagar, where by non-aircon cars/SUV’s.
• Service of a local English speaking guide in each city as per above programme for sightseeing’s. For group above 10 pax, it will be escorted service. (No Escort service to Srinagar).
• Jeep ride at Amer, Jaipur.
• Heating Charges at Houseboat.

Excludes:

• Any airfare for Delhi-Srinagar-Delhi,
• Any item of personal nature such as table drinks, laundry, telephone calls, mineral water etc.
• Any monument or camera fee applicable at monuments or tipping,

IMPORTANT NOTES:
While visiting Taj Mahal, please note no video camera allowed from inner gate of monument. Only still cameras allowed. Also no cigarettes, lights, match, eatables, drinking water allowed. Your ticket cost for Taj Mahal includes one small drinking water bottle and shoe covers.

Rates not applicable for peak period between 22nd December'08 to 05th January'09. Supplement cost will be applicable at the time of booking.
